The Queer Voices International Film Festival invites you to the fourth edition of the Queer Voices filmmaking workshop, which will take place in Chisinau between November 29 and December 5, 2021.
The entire LGBTQIA+ community, as well as its allies with experience or interest in filmmaking and filmmaking, are invited to participate in the Queer Voices workshop. The workshop aims to provide tools for the development of film production skills to tell more about the lives of people in the LGBTQIA+ community in the Republic of Moldova and the challenges they face in everyday life. The best film idea will be awarded.
In the context of the pandemic, the workshop will take place in accordance with the security measures and restrictions recommended to the Security Commission and the WHO.
The trainer of this edition is Panagiotis Evangelidis, film producer, known for They Glow in the Dark (2013), Xenia (2014) and Irving Park (2019).
Requirements for participants:
- Be part of the LGBTQIA+ community, filmmakerx supporting the community or people working in an NGO that protects LGBTQIA+ rights;
- To be currently in the Republic of Moldova;
- To know English, as this is the language of communication of the workshop;
- Ensure a non-discriminatory environment;
- Comply with the safety and health measures mentioned above.

The selection will take place in two stages – filling in the application form here and a possible interview in Zoom (or other online means of communication) with the organizers of the International Queer Voices Film Festival. Only the selected people will be notified, no later than November 23, about the result of participating in the workshop.
